Rescue Collection Produce Bags

$33.00

The chicest way to be eco-friendly. Save money while polluting less the next time you hit the grocery store.

Description

These bulk bags made from 100% rescued materials and will help you save money every time you hit the grocery store by avoiding the cost of new packaging each time (which in turn is also great for the planet!)

These items come as a set of 3 (1 small, 1 medium, 1 large)

Care Instructions

After returning from the grocery store, place the dry bulk goods inside your containers at home. If it’s produce, remove from the bag and place in your fridge, preferably in cold water. Then wash the bags on delicate, cold cycle. Tumble dry on low, or better yet, hang dry!

How to Use/Wear

To refill bulk goods, know the tare weight of your bags, so that you can give this information to the cashier. The cashier can weigh it for you before you refill if you need a reminder. Then head to the bulk good section and refill with whatever you need- rice, beans, oats, nuts, etc. Tell the cashier the tare weight when you check out so they will deduct it from the total weight. When you arrive home, simply empty the contents into your storage containers/jars at home!

To refill produce, you often do not need the tare weight, just the number of items you’re buying!

Materials

Typically mixtures of cotton and linen, all 100% rescued materials.

Packaging

All Rescue packages are shipped in biodegradable packaging made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials.

End of Life

When this item has reached the end of its time with you, please donate or drop at your nearest textile recycling center.

What a luxury to work with straight fabric!!! Still from @goodwillsfl of course but man oh man was it nice having the creative freedom to use multiple yards instead of little chopped up pieces.

Coastal grandma minus the pants

Sweater is avail online, it’s 100% cotton, and the Rescue involved paint removal. Love to think that the previous owner was a painter 👩🏼‍🎨
