Tomato Tee
The tomato tshirt, designed in collaboration with Green Tomato. Comes with a small glass vial of tomato seeds harvested from local and organic cocktail tomatoes. The tomato was important to include in this collection for several reasons: tomatoes are part of Green Tomato’s company name, they’re the state food of New Jersey (where the founder of The Rescue Collection) is from, tomatoes are a popular pin cushion shape for sewers, AND if you grow tomoatoes in Florida, you don’t have to worry about iguanas eating them!
Sizing
Available in sizes small, medium, and large, all with a boxier/cropped fit.
Care Instructions
Wash on cold & delicate. Tumble dry on low or better yet, hang dry! To grow tomatoes, put seed in soil and keep soil wet until seeds sprout. After sprout, water approximately once per day! Tomatoes are ready to harvest when red and “cocktail size” as in product image.
Materials
Cotton and polyester blend, all rescued.
Packaging
All Rescue Collection packages are shipped plastic-free, in biodegradable, recycled paper packaging. Kraft packaging tape is recyclable and does not need to be removed from paper in order to recycle. Any additional padding or thank-you letters are from a secondhand source.
